写真家John Gossageによる少々難解で謎めいた構成の写真集。ワシントンD.Cに住むJohn Gossageが、隣宅である元国務長官のラムズフェルド邸を写したもの。時にシャープさを欠き、フォーカスのポイントが不自然にずれた写真の数々が居並ぶ。表紙写真のタイトルは「The Thirty Two Inch Ruler」だが、これはリバーシブル仕様で裏面は「Map of Babylon」となっており、上下逆さまに読ませる体裁。
