ゲリー・ウィノグランドの死後、MoMAにおいて開催された一大回顧展のカタログ。ウィノグランドのキャリアの全貌がうかがえる作品集に仕上がっており、「Animals」「Women are Beautiful」「Public Relations」といった代表作の他、それまで未収録の作品も掲載する内容。特に冒頭でジョン・シャーカフスキーが、30ページにわたり記したゲリー・ウィノグランドについて論考エッセイでは、彼が「因襲の破壊者」とされる所以を述べている他、ネガコンタクトシートなども掲載されている。ジョン・シャーカフスキーによる編集。
